Newcastle United attacker Anthony Gordon don dismiss fresh transfer rumours linking am with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool, calling am “the same old, same old.”
The England winger shine again on Wednesday night, scoring four goals as Newcastle demolish Qarabag 6-1 in the first leg of their Champions League knockout round playoff.
That performance mean say Gordon now don score 10 goals and provide two assists in nine Champions League appearances this season.

“I should have scored more – I suppose get six. I miss two chances wey I normally score. I no go call am easy, but na chances wey I should finish. I always dey look for more.
“I score four but I no fully happy. Maybe next time.”
That mentality don help am elevate his game this season, especially on the Champions League stage where he don consistently deliver big performances.

Gordon join Newcastle from Everton in January 2023 and don since represent the club 142 times, scoring 36 goals and providing 28 assists.
